Kościół parafialny pod wezwaniem św. Piotra Apostoła z 1862 r. - usytuowany na Piastowskim Wzgórzu, którego wieża dominuje nad krajobrazem miasta. Architektem był Friedrich August Stüler, a współautorem projektu i znaczącym sponsorem był król pruski Fryderyk Wilhelm IV stąd dawna nazwa wzniesienia to Wzgórze Królewskie.

APOSTEL-PETRUS-PFARRKIRCHE – gebaut im Jahre 1862. Gelegen auf der Piasten-Höhe (Wzgórze Piastowskie), deren Turm die Landschaft der Stadt überragt. Architekt war Friedrich August Stüler und Koautor des Projektes sowie ein bedeutender Sponsor war der König von Preußen Friedrich Wilhelm IV., daher der alte Name der Erhebung - Königshöhe.
ST. PETER APOSTLE CHURCH – built in 1862 and situated on the Piastowski Hill, the church and its tower dominates over the town. It was designed by a Prussian architect Friedrich August Stüler, and interestingly, co-designed by Frederick Wilhelm IV of Prussia who funded the church. This is why in the bygone days the spot used to be called the Royal Hill.
